I support moving forward with the Inner Harbor desalination project while continuing to pursue additional water sources. The goal is simple: secure reliable water for residents and businesses while protecting ratepayers and planning responsibly for future growth.
As District 5 continues to grow, our infrastructure has to keep up. I believe we need to prioritize residential streets, utilities, and the infrastructure residents rely on everyday. New growth should be planned responsibly without allowing existing neighborhoods to be left behind.
I believe taxpayers deserve the same responsible budgeting and accountability expected in a successful business. I will scrutinize spending, prioritize essential services, and work to protect the City's financial standing.
Safe neighborhoods are essential to a strong community. I support providing our police officers, firefighters and first responders with the staffing, equipment and resources they need while making sure public safety dollars are spent responsibly and effectively.
