Born and raised in Corpus Christi, David Peña has built his life around serving his community. Before becoming a small business owner, he spent over 15 years working in local refineries. He gained firsthand experience in the industries that help power our region and support working families. Today as a husband, father, grandfather and owner of Fleet Feet, Bay Area Bicycles and Archery Outfitters International, he understands the challenges local families and businesses face.

David Peña is a Moody High graduate and owner of three successful businesses. A former emergency response technician at Valero Refinery and a 40 Under 40 award winner, he has built his career on hard work and leadership. He serves as President of several non-profits that focus on wildlife conservation and give back to the local community:

He serves as President of several non-profits that focus on wildlife conservation and give back to the local community: Safari Club International-Texas Brush Country Chapter, Delta Waterfowl-Laguna Madre Chapter and Tejas Bowmen Archery Club. David also serves on the Crime Control Board.
